A typical installation incorporates Kroy Deep-immersion technology for chlorination in a turn-key package that can be individually specified for the chemical treatment of wool tops.These treatments include shrink-resist,machine-washable,Total Easy Care and handle-modification treatments such as Soft Lustre. Equipment is controlled electronically using inverters and is operated from acentral control panel allowing the operator to adjust a variety of parameters to optimise the process for each particular end-product. The process can be specified to use chlorine derived from liquefied gas or from sulphuric acid and sodium hypochlorite. Fume extraction and fume-scrubbing equipment is supplied to ensure operator safety and to satisfy stringent environmental standards
